Gilad is and experienced security management professional, with strong drive towards sustainable, risk based, cost effective and pragmatic security solutions; having more than 35 years of international security experience, holding operational, command and management positions in the military, government and private sectors.
Gilad has proven track record of security performance improvement in senior security management roles including large international organizations such as DHL, ST-Ericsson and at the present holds the position of security and loss prevention director for Amazon fulfillment and logistics operations in EMEA and India; focusing on mitigating relevant risks and making security a business enabler while adding value and contributing to achieving the organization’s business targets.
Gilad is a recognized security expert with successful experience in senior management and leadership roles in various security organizations and forums, supporting the development of networking, knowledge sharing and cooperation within the private sector as well as with law enforcement and regulatory bodies.
Gilad also participated in wide range of studies, projects and expert groups, transforming security theory into sound and useful practice. He was member of TAPA EMEA BOD leading the IIS, regulatory affairs and later the training; held development director role in IFPO Europe; participated in supply chain standards and initiatives including Europol working groups, member of the CEN TC 379 Supply Chain Security forum, led the Freight Cluster of the CounterAct project (CounterAct – Cluster Of User Networks in Transport and Energy Relating to Anti-terrorist ACTivities) under the 6th Framework Programme for Research and Development of the European Commission; speaker and panel member at the UNECE (United Nations Economic Commission to the EU) inland transport security forums; speaker at TAPA and ASIS conferences; guest lecturer on supply chain and logistics security in universities in Luxembourg and Switzerland.
Gilad holds M.Sc. degree in Organizational Resilience and board certified by ASIS and ACFE for CPP, PSP and CFE. Actively involved in coaching and training numerous security professionals towards certifications in security education and certification programs.
